NEXGA UTILITY – Privacy Policy

NEXGA UTILITY (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is developed by Guangzhou Laijia Technology Co., Ltd. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it.   • Usage Data: Cycling data such as power output and cadence. This data is generated and displayed only when you connect a Nexga power meter and is stored locally on your device.

  • Log Data: When you use the App, we may collect technical logs (such as error reports) to improve application performance.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, phone number, or email address unless you voluntarily provide it through technical support channels.

2. Use of Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide core functions such as real-time data monitoring, firmware upgrades, and zero-point calibration.

  • To optimize App performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • To enhance user experience and improve product features.

3. Data Storage and Protection

  • Local Storage: Cycling data and device information are stored locally on your device by default and are not uploaded to our servers.

  • Data Security: We employ industry-standard security measures (such as encryption technology) to protect data during Bluetooth transmission and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

  • Retention Period: Local data remains on your device until you manually delete it. We do not retain any user data on our server side.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:

  • With your explicit consent.

  • To comply with laws and regulations or respond to requests from law enforcement agencies.

  • To protect our legal rights or prevent fraudulent activities.

The App may include third-party services (such as Bluetooth protocol support or firmware download links). These services may have their own independent privacy policies; we recommend reviewing their terms. We are not responsible for the data processing practices of third-party services.

6. Your Rights

You may, at any time:

  • Delete the App and its associated data (locally stored data will be cleared accordingly).

  • Refuse or revoke Bluetooth permissions (though this may affect the availability of certain features).

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover that data from a minor has been collected, please contact us to have the information removed.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified to you within the App or via our official website. The new policy will take effect immediately upon posting.
